Our Curriculum

 The Sensorial Curriculum constitutes the vital second pillar of Maria Montessori's educational approach, aiming to enhance your child's ability to engage with the environment by harnessing the five fundamental senses and cultivating their motor skills and vestibular sense. 

Through active exploration and utilization of the materials provided in our classroom, your child will develop and refine their five senses. 

This integral aspect of the curriculum paves the way for your child to acquire essential skills in classification, organization, and discrimination, which are the cornerstones that underpin the realms of mathematics, geometry, and language. 

The Math Curriculum is firmly rooted in Maria Montessori's philosophy, which recognizes that a child's mind inherently possesses mathematical tendencies, as evidenced by the ordered development of their senses. 

By engaging in direct, hands-on experiences, your child will embark on a journey through mathematical principles, gradually progressing from the tangible and concrete, to the abstract and complex. With this curriculum, your child will gain a deep understanding of the fundamental concepts of numeration, place value, and fractions, as well as the essential operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, utilizing numbers up to 9999. 

Through systematic and sequential exploration your child will develop a solid mathematical foundation, fostering conceptual understanding and computational fluency.  

   According to Maria Montessori, children from birth to around the age of six possess an extraordinary ability known as the Absorbent Mind. During this critical period, children learn language most effectively by immersing themselves in an environment where it is naturally spoken.
